Balkan Entertainment Company is a Bulgarian Agency for the performing Arts, which has in its so far brief history established itself as one of the leading managing and producing agencies in Bulgaria.

Petar Petrov is an initiator, organizer and co producer of the first Balkan cultural project in the fields of ethno and world music, "Balkan Horses". The wealth and the integrity in the origin of the Balkan folklore provoked it to create an international orchestra called "Balkan Horses Band", in which took part nine of the most prominent composers and performers in the styles ethno, rock, jazz, ambience, new age. The music, created by the talent of these artists, awoke the positive emotions and the willingness to save our roots, to save the specifics of the Balkan culture and to turn back to the land of our origin, on which we live and evolve.

Relying on its years-long experience like production and tour manager of concerts by world-known artists in Bulgaria - Jose Carreras, Monserrat Caballe, Sting, Vanessa Mae, Goran Bregovic, Blues Brothers, Steve Vay, Richie Blackmore, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Nazareth, KISS, Uriah Heep, John McLaughlin, John Patitucci Quartet, Toto, Gipsy Kings Family, Kansas, Night of the Sultans, Deep Purple, Metallica, White Snake, Al Bano Carrisi, Franco Nero, Paolo Vallesi, Michael Bolton, Yulduz Ibrachimova and many others - the Agency works for spreading Bulgarian musical art on the international market and protection of its rights and interests. Its area of activities encloses a wide variety of ethno, pop and jazz to classical music, theater and ballet. The Agency works with one of the most prominent Bulgarian artists, amongst whom there are Theodosii Spassov, The Cosmic Voices Choir, the groups "Zone C", "OM" and others. With its projects Balkan Entertainment Company tends to develop and integrate Bulgarian culture in the global social life.

A guarantee for the high professional qualities of the artistic performances, organized by Balkan Entertainment Company, is the participation and the support of Bulgarian and International organizations United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Open Society, Pro Helvetia, Goethe Institute and others. It works with renowned sound and light companies and co-operates with the most popular media in the country, which makes its work accessible to a wide range of fans of cultural events. The partnership with the Bulgarian National Television, bTV and New Television, provides a priority possibility of the concerts, organized by the Agency, to be filmed and broadcasted, providing the fans the pleasure of enjoying once again the performance of their favorite artists.
