Scented Candles Will Illuminate Sir Tom Jones' Dressing Room Before His Show In Sofia
15.10.2013
Tom Jones is at his best again! 73-years old artist from Wales is happy to be back on the stage after the release of his last album. He started his World tour a few months ago and won’t miss Sofia. His show here is scheduled for 30 October in NDK, Hall 1.
During his last visit in Bulgaria Tom Jones doesn’t have had enough time to see Sofia and now the artist will compensate with a whole day off before his show. He asked the local promoter for a special program with the most memorable places in the Bulgarian capital.
Although his enormous fame and talent, Sir Tom Jones’s wishes are simple. All that he wants to be provided in Sofia is some scented candles, a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne and a cheese plateau. His crew will satisfy with fresh orange juice, Bulgarian beer and French wine. Important terms in the requirements are recycle bins and full absence of tobacco smoke.
With a bunch of great hits like ”What’s New Pussycat” and “Delilah” from the Sixties, “She’s A Lady” from the Seventies, “Kiss” from the Eighties and “Sex Bomb” from 2000, the Tom Jones’ presence on the scene is as always one of a kind.
Recently Sir Tom proved his talent again with his 40th album “Spirit in the Room”, which sounds as modern as like the albums of younger with half a century artists. The new CD collection contains covers of songs of Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and others, with which Sir Jones pays tribute to the artists he respects the most. He comments: “It was a wonderful opportunity to work with some of their songs”.
